Mast Jib Crane
The mast jib crane is connected to the floor and stabilized with a connection to an overhead structure. More economical than the free standing crane, this crane has similar advantages such as the 360° rotation through the workspace (depending on the top connection) and compatibility with other crane systems.
Free-Standing Jib Crane
The free-standing jib crane is well suited for open areas in the work-space or outdoors with its 360° rotation. It can be used with an overhead crane system or with other jib cranes in an overlapping staged operation. Loads can be positioned precisely and smoothly, easing the strain on workers.
Wall Bracket Jib Crane
The wall bracket jib crane is the most economical crane system. With a limited rotation of 200°, this crane is typically used along walls, on existing support columns or any space where a crane wouldn't need 360° rotation. The wall bracket jib crane requires sufficient clearance above the boom to accommodate the tie-rod suspension and a means to support it. The crane can supplement an overhead or monorail system.
Wall Cantilever Jib Crane
The wall cantilever jib crane is similar to the wall bracket jib crane. However, because of the cantilever design, this crane provides maximum lift for the hoist as the boom can be installed very close to overhead structures.
Articulating Arm Jib Crane
The articulating jib crane arm is designed for ergonomic handling of materials to reduce strain and injury on workers. The crane's articulating arm permits the worker to physically manipulate a load through a system of 'mechanical muscle' in a 360° rotation. The arm has a horizontal joint midway through, that permits flexibility. This is particularly useful when there are too many obstructions in the workspace where other jib crane types cannot negotiate. The crane design permits the boom to be placed close to the overhead structure, maximizing lifting height for the hoist.
The arm can be mounted in a wall bracket, permanent floor mount, ceiling mount or in a portable base. This is ideal for areas with minimal headroom or limited floor and ceiling space.
