Century Cranes & Services Ltd. has a great selection of power attachments. Each attachment solves a difficult material-handling problem either by itself or in conjunction with other under-hook-attachments.

Rotating Hooks
The rotating hook block is perfect for realigning balanced loads within the workspace at an economical price. The hook can gently rotate a load 360° through the horizontal plane. Load momentum is slowly increased then bled off with the optional soft start/stop control package, letting the operator realign the load safely. The powered hook block replaces the regular hook and requires a connection to the power system. Century Cranes can incorporate the rotation controls into a pendant or radio control system.

Flip Rite
The Flip Rite material-handling system allows you to raise, lower, rotate and level large, bulky or oddly shaped objects weighing up to 100 tons. The Flip Rite is engineered and built for optimal performance when attached to your crane hook. Each Flip Rite unit is custom-engineered for your application whether it is welding-fabrication, machining or assembly manipulation

The Flip Rite also improves the ergonomics of a work process. The Flip Rite eases stress by rotating and positioning the large work-piece at a comfortable level for the worker to access the area of interest. It also permits precision positioning of large work-pieces when assembling a product.

Level Rite
The Level Rite enables safer, more productive handling of large, uneven items such as bundles of steel tubing, without the need for a two-hook pickup or a counter-balance. The system can be fitted on a variety of lifting beams and devices with capacities up to 100 tons.

This load beam can balance or level your load after the lift is made. Controlled by the operator from a hand held pendant or radio control system, this Level-Rite TM beam will reduce handling time by eliminating the need to adjust the load to do a balanced lift. The Level-Rite TM is available on most of our products as an option, making it one of the most versatile lifting devices available. The Level-Rite TM can also be used to tilt a load that may be required for precise placement or assembly operations.

Magnet Attachment
Modern, robust and reliable, a magnet is suitable for special tasks and loads. A magnetic field is created between two field poles when the device is activated. The magnet armature's outer surface remains neutral and protects against external influences. No residual magnetism remains when the magnet is switched off. Special magnets for handling hot materials at temperatures up to 600° Centigrade are available.

Spreader Magnet Attachment
Spreaders fitted with magnets make it possible to handle difficult loads such as plate, sheet metal and long-section steel. The distribution of pick-up points and each magnet's integral spring system allows gentle load handling. The rigid spreader magnet has one or two suspension points, while a slewing spreader incorporates a slewing ring that is stabilized by rope stays or telescoping guides.

Motor-driven and manually extendible magnet spreaders are available.

Vacuum Attachment
Vacuum-load attachments are designed for gentle handling of non-porous, flat materials from metal to glass.

Two types of vacuum pumps are available: pneumatic for stationary installations with pneumatically or manually controlled slewing arms; and electric motor driven, suitable for operation on cranes.

A standard unit handles loads ranging from 125 to 2,000 kg. Designs are available for special work piece handling requirements and loads up to 16,000 kg. The unit has back-up batteries and a vacuum reservoir to ensure the vacuum seal is maintained during a power or mechanical failure. Acoustic and visual warning systems are included in the unit. An electric valve control can be integrated in a control pendant.
